No new truck is going to not give you issues or be better then the others when you think about it, Toyota's are great yea but stay away from the I force v8's in tundras, gotta worry about timin belt and horrible fuel milage, Lexus designed that motor so it's a jap mess of electronics and over engineering, ford is my favorite brand truck because rust isn't really am issue in new trucks, the from ends are best of all the trucks but the ford diesels are another story, I'm a diesel mechanic and hate what does did to the diesel market although the EPA and emmision issues kick started it, now with all the diesels out there the average home owner can't work on there truck at home so diesels are becoming more impractical as an every day truck because of computers and emmisions, I had 2 older cummins diesels in dodge and they were great but the new ones, no way, not unless you own a shop or bring your diesel trucks I the dealer for service. As far as GM goes, I'm not a fan of the Fromt ends, they are weak, you can say all you want about Allison transmissions but there just a name and aren't anything special, dodge trucks rot out and have terrible Fromt ends also. Gotta ask yourself what is the lesser evils and what deal you can get on what truck, GM may have better cup holders ect. Let something you notice that's simple like that decide, cost of ownership is about the same with all of them for the most part.
