"NJ - Bus for game code hearingPublic hearing
Dear NJARA Members and Supporters:
One of the reasons why the 2005 bear lawsuit was successful in
court was because we attended and spoke out at the game code
hearings held each year in Trenton. The next game code hearing
is on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, State Museum, 205 West State Street,
Trenton, NJ 08625 at 6:30pm.
This is our opportunity to tell the NJ Fish and Game Council what
we think of their proposal.
The proposal and other information is available for viewing at the
NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife's website:
http://www.nj.gov/dep/rules/notices/040609b.html
NJARA has joined with the Bear Group to make this easy for you to
attend by providing a bus from North and Central Jersey at the
following locations (unfortunately, we cannot schedule buses
throughout NJ). A suggested donation of $20 for each rider helps
to pay the cost of the bus.
NOTE: Reservations for bus transportation down to Trenton for
GAME CODE PUBLIC HEARING must be made by: Thursday, April 16,
11am. We need to determine if we have the critical mass of riders
to defray the cost of the bus. Please contact Janet at
hasla1@... to reserve your seat on the bus.
FIRST PICK UP SITE:
HillCrest Comm. Center
1810 Macopin Road
West Milford
Bus riders must park in the extreme left side parking lot (when
facing the building), next to the gym. The bus will depart at
approximately 3:30pm.
SECOND SITE FOR PICK UP:
Willowbrook Mall
Wayne, NJ
Park in the open space between Macy's and Bloomingdale, which
is near the entrance by Old Navy.
The bus will arrive here approximately 4:30pm and depart
approximately 4:45pm.
THIRD SITE FOR PICK UP:
Borders in Bridgewater (across from Mall)
290 Commons Way, Bridgewater
Park in the corner of the parking lot furthest point across from
Borders (closest to the Commons Way street).
Bus will arrive approximately 5:30pm and depart approximately
5:45pm for Trenton.
We anticipate leaving Trenton approximately 9 to 9:30pm.
Thanks,
