Why not? George Soros bought Obama's presidency with a lot more money than that.
You left out Fred Eychaner, James H. Simmons, Amy Goldman, Jeff and Marilyn Katzenberg, Steve Mosten & Amber Anderson and a Host of labor unions all of whom contribute more than George Soros to the left but your not really at fault here most folks only hear about the Koch bro.s because they have become a lefty talking point and drumbeat beat when numbers are totaled up they are ranked 59th in political giving WAY BEHIND MANY LEFT WING CONTRIBUTERS.

The Koch brothers just pledged 889million to elections wtf is that I'm reading.i tell you we are doomed it doesn't matter ima sit back and laugh while it all crumbles everything is a joke
I think this is sick sh*t.

People spoke of this election probably costing $1 Billion. And, now that number is even blown out of the water!

I agree with Sen McCain (even before the Koch group threw out that figure) .... this money madness will end when something bad is discovered. And, that this situation is very sad for our country.

Considering Trump had 3 from the media and 9 politicians all ganging up on him to make him look bad he did very well. The problem with this country is the white male has been made into wimps, that's why we are watching our country taken from us. Instead of saying Trump is right people have to say I agree with him but I wish he could tone it down. People are to politically correct, and that is what is killing this country. The only thing you hear from the other candidates is "we need to have a serious conversation about that" ( immigration or any thing else they are side stepping).Did anyone really think any of the other politicians had anything to offer? Regardless it is going to be a tight race and the democrats as usual start on third base because of the way the electoral college is set up. The democrats have 95 % of the vote from there base which includes , the blacks, the Latino, the union workers and school teachers, some of them might tell you that they are independants and undecided but that is code word for vote democrat, well the republicans have the rest of us, the ones to get to pay for this mess.

It isn't right or left, it is both sides. There is way too much money in politics and the corporate lobbyists run the show.

I think after the debates it is clear to see that the brain surgeon is the only one who truly has any gray matter that functions above the level of a high school sophomore. However, he comes off as nervous and his foreign policy experience or lack thereof is a real detriment.

Huckabee makes some great points but then ruins it by going completely bat shit crazy with his anti-abortion ideas. Then Rubio doubles down on Huckabees crazy theory on using the 5th and 14th amendments to prohibit abortion. Then Rubio does one better by saying, incorrectly, that Clinton had more experience than anyone on the stage with him.

I think Christie did well, or at least didn't hurt himself. I don't trust the guy as far as I can throw him but compared to the gang of thieves he is standing up there with, he may not be that bad of an option.

Paul, just trying to stay relevant and not doing an overwhelming job.

Walker, this guy is just strange. He just looks and acts like the kind of guy who preaches morals to the masses and then goes home, does a few lines of coke, and has his dominatrix run roughshod over him all night.

Cruz - Probably the most hardcore, stick-to-his-guns conservative up there but I don't think his message resonates with the masses.

Jeb! We need another Bush like we need a hole in the head. He seems relatively level headed but I don't know that his work in Florida is a great model for the U.S.

Trump is a joke. It seemed as if Fox was really gunning for him in an attempt to expose him as such. It will be interesting to see the effect this debate has on the polls.

The biggest loser of the night - FOX. Commercials during a debate? WTF? Trump had 10 minutes, Christie 6 and I think they were two of the highest numbers.

But have no fear - apparently most of these guys talk to god, so we have nothing to worry about!

The more and more I hear Obama and Hillary talk, the more I like Trump. Straight up truth. Not in it for the money. A lot of people thought he would be long gone by now. People have had enough. Its either the lying hag or Trump. Ill take my chances with him

Ted Cruz scares the Democrats and establishment Republicans even more than Trump. This country needs to be put on Cruz control.
I agree cruz is real good but I think trump will have an easier time righting our course only because of nothing at all to lose. However I have been feeling a Trump Cruz ticket by the way they keep patting each other on the back. Trump has already said he has thought about Cruz as a running mate. I do somewhat like the idea because I believe it could really unite the party. Only fear I have is possibly losing Cruz as a candidate in the future.

Trump may be entertaining with his big tough guy attitude, but we are in a lot of trouble with a hot head the likes of him leading our country....
A leader better tell me what he plans are, "China will build the wall", really....
I think we would be better off with a more level minded Bush instead.

Bush would be another business as usual republican and we would continue to go in reverse. We need someone who is not afraid to play his cards. And for the executive order guys Theodore Roosevelt used 1,006 executive orders while in office.

If trump runs against hillary..Hillary will win
