right on point JERSEYHUNTER.. the antis love this stuff.. see i told you hunter were criminals, unethical , bad people.. thats what there are saying right now..

the only thing i disagree with is that 50% of the theft is by antis.. i am sure that things that i have had stolen were not by anti's but by jealous criminals. i really cant see these tree hugging commies walking in knee high rubber boots crawling through thorn bushes and knee deep water in the swamp with bolt cutters to steal my stuff.

I could've stolen a ladder stand 100 yds from mine on the bordering property
This is a positive post
I would love to know how thinking about stealing a stand from someone elses property is positive. Should I post up the next time I dont mug a little old lady? I mean, thats a good thing right, I had the oportunity and thought about it, but decided against it... wow, I'm such a great guy.[rofl][rofl]

I could have taken alot of stuff from the woods ... feeders, cameras, ladder stands and lock ons. The only thing i ever did was take out a loc-on and the steps and leave it at the base of the tree. Thats what the land owner wanted me to do it was on his property. Other than that i would not touch it ... Not mine to touch.

Gee if you have that thought in your heart already you could have taken it what's to stop you from taking it?????????

One day the flesh might allow you to take it because you already had entertained the thought in your mind that you could have. Think about that?[smirk]

I've hunted along side that spot for 2 years now? YTF would I steal it? I actually respect other's stuff unlike most the jackasses that roam the woods stealing stands and cameras and whatever else they can.

This post is BS.. Why the hell are you guys bragging about what YOU COULD HAVE STOLEN!!!
Because the emphasis should be on COULD HAVE, but didn't. You weren't at the convience store, you were all alone in the woods and you could have taken someone else's poperty but didn't because your an honest person that is also a hunter.

Why bother posting all the things that you had stolen and bitch about how other hunters are such scumbags. Does that present a more positive perspective? This at least shows that every day hunters find and respect other peoples property by leaving it alone.

Twice this year I cam accross lock on stands on private property that should not have been there. In both cases I took the time to cut the locks, take the stands down and leave them at the base of the tree they were in with a note reminding the owners I could have just taken them but have given them an opportunity to take the stands and leave the private property. Both were picked up within a week and never seen again.

Now there's a man that's a real hunter.
