Today's Fishing Trip 5/19

I went out fishing with Catfish Hunter and his buddy today; it was the first time I ever went bluefish/striper fishing. While I only caught one fish, it was a dandy. Catfish Hunter and his buddy caught a couple of blues.

Mine was 16 lbs, 35" long. Take a look:

these fish wouldnt touch a clam today it was all bunker ,we finaly got the fish under the boat when the fog chased me home,just didnt feel like sleeping out there in the rain

According to catfish hunter's digital scale, it weighed in at 16 lbs 2 oz. I'll just say it's 16 lbs even.

It was definitely a blast. I think I'm going to have to buy myself a saltwater rig in the future [ko]

I was toying with it... NOT! It probably would've blown it up into a dozen different pieces. Actually, I borrowed a rod/reel setup from my cousin. I don't know the specifics other than the line was Trilene XT 18 lb test.
