A special thank you to an amazing job by Rich, the deer tracker and his talented dog, Ember. Briefly, this is what happened several weeks ago. I shot at a deer on October 24. Although I thought I had a good shot, I was unable to track the deer. I immediately contacted Rich with my concerns. He advised me to wait overnight and met up with me promptly the very next morning. After finding my arrow, Ember quickly picked up on the deer's blood trail and followed it for 50 yards. At this point, the blood trail vanished, leaving Rich and I confused. Ember, however, continued to lead the way for another 200 yards directly to my buck. I was not only relieved with our success, but also impressed with Ember's talent and Rich's commitment, I was happy to take my buck home with me shortly after we began our search.
