so after work today i decide to do some shedding close to work. im hitting the fields and woods, and i stumble across a dead yorksire terrieir. it has tags on so i cut em off. dogs name, owner phone and address. huuummm! iv seen this dogs name before. i go back to my work and there it is. GRUBER; LOST REWARD 1000.00 DOLLARS. i drive to the owners house explain the fate of ol gruber and give them his tags. she want to bury ol gruber, can i take them to his body? well i says, its pretty far in the swamp an woods. we talk a minute, and come with me delivering ol gruber to there home for 500.00. needless to say ol gruber is home, safe {thawing out} and waiting for a proper burial. i love shed hunting, you never know what youll find!!

You could of just stuck Gruber in your pocket on the first trip and you wouldnt of had to walk back in to get him. I wouldnt have taken the money though.

well at least they got closer on their part of the family that was missing. id of taken gas money but that would have been it. there are some people who will insist on giving large amount just because the loved one is now home so all i can say is thanks for bringing the dog home. id of paid you the same if it was my beloved dog[up][up]

Hold on before flaming the poor guy, he may have refused the money only to have it forced on him by grubers owner, I've been in that situation before and would never ask for it nor would I take it unless they insist.
