I want to fish tomorrow but stay away from the crowds , not sure if I feel like making the drive to candlewood I wanted to stay local , looking at a map I came across paulinskill lake and in seems that the northern end is state land, anyone ever fish it? Is there a boat launch ? Is the place deep enough for a bass boat? Is there a motor restriction or electric only? Thanks for any advice !..

dirty water - there are bass and carp... and catfish. I live near there but never the lake, only the river in sections below dam.
Thanks for the heads yup and yes I did end up finding there is no launch just roof top drop..off to swartswood I guess
My dad lives about half mile from there, he has 50 acres, hit the p kill once in awhile , still plenty of trout ( river) only fished the lake a few times. Good luck .
I've had my 1872 mod v in there but isn't easy launching off the gravel ramp and then gotta fight thru the Lilly pads once you launch. Lots of shallow water and stumps but if you follow the channel it isn't to bad.
