Ok guys, I spoke with captain Paul about our up coming off shore sebass trip. here are the details of the trip.. Its a 6 pack charter,60 miles out to the fishing grounds. The cost of the boat is 1,400 plus 20 % tip so it comes to $280.00 per man.. Captain Paul says its an all day trip he usually leaves at 4 am to get on the fishing grounds and we will be home some time after dark.. Everything is provided for us except food and drink..You can of course bring your own gear if you wish..What Captain Paul tells me is that if we limit out on Seabass early, (Which happens often) we will run out a couple of extra miles and do some tile fishing..
Of course you guys know there is never any garuntees but these guys come highly recomended and usually put good catches of BIG sea bass together..
The boat is located in Cape May so I figuered alot of you guys, Myself included are going to want to grab a hotel down there for a night to break up the traveling.. So we need to Pick a weekend and here is the story with picking the weekend, We need to be flexible, Kind of like Tuna fishing, We need to be able to go in the best possible time frame so we need to keep a whole weekend open to give us the best opportunity to get out. Once we pick the weekend Captain Paul will then give us 5-7 days notice on which day we will be going..
The weekend I was thinking was the weekend of Jan 19 -21.. The 21st is a holiday so it would actually give us a 3 day weekend and a greater window.. So what do you guys think??
Here is the list I have for the 6 going so far. They have 2 boats so if we can get another 6 guys we can fill the other boat..
