Thanks guys. Headed out wed or Thurs to go kick the tires.. owner sent me a picture from under the bed that looks like the frame has some heavy rust on it. So we will see.

Check the fuel lines, brake lines, tank straps, and tank for rust.

I had a 97 f350 with the powerstroke up till two years ago. good truck and good shape but every 6-9 months had some issue come up that downed the truck. pin whole leak in fuel tank, valve cover gaskets, trans seal between engine and so on. and rust underneath that just wasnt going to get better. only rust on body was tailgate. great truck but needed to just be worked on every so often. so being my only vehicle, just decided to sell it. kne thing to def check is coolant. know someone who bought truck just like yours and its in phenominal shape and great price. the guy gave him some story that he was sick and needed to sell it. well turns it had blown heads whcih he didnt find out till few weeks later after he bought it.
