Wow, I didn't know they made muzzleloaders able to fire three quick shots. I've got to get one of those. WTF? And it wasn't birdshot either

I herd one of those new 30-6 muzzleloaders this morning. Made me jump and I think it was a half mile away. That thing seemed to eco for ever. Guess they had something to reach out and touch.

No movement at all in 14. I saw a big buck bed down about 70 yds away in heavy cover. Watched the area for 2 1/2 hours. Got out of stand. Went over to investigate and he blew out like a locomotive.

why would you go investigate if you knew he was 70 yds away. he would of moved eventually

if I was you, and I didn't have to work my ass would of been planted to dark If I seen him bed down, but more than likely been dragging him out by 2. if I had to leave for work or something I would of backed out as quiet as possible and prayed he didn't see me. hay check it off to a lesson learned, maybe you smartened him up and he will be a monster next year or maybe he messes up tomorrow,
