You have to wonder if they ever leave their little rich town to be with the bears...
And how does baiting cause deforestation???
Who the eff in their right mind would give an animal birth control!?!?!!?You seriously are not a hunter. I don't care what you say. Here you go now with a fence argument that we hear over and over again from the animal rights extremists. How about birth control? I'm sure you have that silly argument in your arsenal as well.
So let me see if I understand you correctly. Farmers should do nothing other than build fences to prevent crop damage? How about depredation permits? You against those as well? People's livelihood depend on crop yield and so does the prices you pay when you go to the supermarket. It's hard enough to make a living as a farmer in this state without adding in costs for silly things like 12 foot high bear fences to put around 200 acres of fields.
I got news for you bud, we don't live in a Disney cartoon where animals live in an enchanted forest, have human emotions, and magically never exceed carrying capacity. It's a good thing that the vast majority of people that live in this state still realize the importance of wildlife management and hunting.
I have had it before and I think it is delicious!bear its whats for dinner
YES! Since the bear hunts were stopped in the 70's the numbers exploded to the point they became unsustainable. Your quote about the current bear numbers only proves that the hunt/management plan is working as designed. These numbers are exploding numbers?
"The bear population in northwestern New Jersey stood at 3,400 in the months before the first hunt in 2010. Before this year’s hunt began, the number of bears had dropped to between 2,800 and 3,000, state officials said."
Another 'anti' catchphrase. I am fully convinced at this point that you are 100% an anti.If I do have it again I will HUNT the bear, not bait it in and think I am hunting.
I guess you didn't read thisYES! Since the bear hunts were stopped in the 70's the numbers exploded to the point they became unsustainable. Your quote about the current bear numbers only proves that the hunt/management plan is working as designed.

Finally something I can agree with you on. I think most hunters feel and act this way but like anything else in life there are those who abuse the privilege.I hunt and will only take what I need and leave the rest. I fish and take what I need to make a living and leave the rest. I am an advocate of CONSERVING our natural resources because if you are a hunter or fisherman this should be your number one priority.
Lighten up Francis I was screwing with you guys, you know egging you on and playing a veiled eco nut..."I won't troll you guys again" I'm still waiting for you to explain how the whole 16 people in Walpack caused the bear population to explode as you stated. 16 people's garbage has caused all those cubs to be born. Yup, like candy from a baby.
Can you read? Can you comprehend? IT was all a joke, get it? I w a s J o k i n g.So you don't have an explanation, and when you get called out, you change the subject and call names (WD40). Straight out of the anti playbook.
Well the Govt does this, I believe it is called eminent domaine...so yes it does happen, I will not debate you on this or any other rant you have brought up. My only question is this, if they were "crazy numbers like deer" it would make it ok in your eyes?Thats like me coming over your house and kicking you out because I am there now and I feel like it.
