I was going through trailcam pics from last year and came across this guy. I let him go last year because I was after a bigger one. I have pics of him again this year and was trying to get him but once the rut hit he was all over the place. When he returned he had a broken brow tine so he gets another pass. Just goes to show that if you pass up the smaller ones they will be nicer next year.

I know the "let them go and they will grow" works as I have many trail pics of the same bucks as yearlings, up to 16 inch plus shooters. Many dont make it through the shot gun season drives but I am always surprized at how many do.
