..at 4:30pm its almost like you can visualize a deer coming from a certain way.
exactly[up]

For does you need neither luck nor skill. You only need a back yard. Same goes for spikes and small racks. Big Bucks require every skill you have, determination plus patience and a whole lot of luck. When I grow up ...
i agree also but even for does i get exited haha this is my second season and when i saw the first doe on opening day i was shakin from my head to my toes[up][up][up]

it can all come together but you need to find that yardage and make that shot[up]

For Big Bucks its all LUCK!! Last year was my first year bow hunting decided to hunt in the first blizzard we had last year, on the ground with a bow on public land guess what walks right to me a 140 class buck 10 yard shoot dead in 80 yards

It takes skill to put yourself in a position to get lucky ;)

One or two book bucks is luck
Your kidding right? I'd say anyone on this site that has one or two "book" bucks quite skillful.

125 inches or better with the bow.
as a non typical 155

the point im trying to make is the ordinary person who says how is it fun shooting deer or looking at you like you have three heads when you say you didnt see anything.... they have no idea how hard it is to figure them out and harvest one on their turf.. if you put one of my friends out there with a bow and a climber they would have no idea what to look for and have no idea what the deer are doing...

Being in the right place at the right time then your skill takes over and you miss the shot so wheres your skill now?:p

When luck is there you know the differance but pride rears it's ugly head sometimes[rofl][rofl][rofl]

Its all got to work together. Could of happened tonight but it wasn't all there, didn't have that element of of the L to bone out.:p
