I got a spot that has multiple rubs and scrapes. Do you set up 20 yards from the active spot or do you set up on trails leading to and from?

If near a food source hunt it pm. Near a beading area hunt it am.

I would try to set up on the scrape because if he comes in you can shoot while he is preoccupied.

I never have luck near scrapes or rubs...I like to stick with funnels near them.

chances are its not the only scrape or rub in the area... so hunt the funnels around the scrapes. They are great indicators of buck activity... sooner or later they are gonna have to pass through your funnel and you'll pop em.

I always had best success on the trails leading to scrapes/Rubs myself...
Pay attention to funnels and you can't go wrong.

Piss in it first then sit shooting distance....[ninja]

I like to pee in them...find a high concentration of them than hunt the trails in the funnel and ya can't go wrong.

Sometime I still hunt scrapes and rubs. I have tried baiting them but have never had a scrape or rub come to the bait.
