Is the new Chayanne Outfitters open yet??

I've been in there it's much more organized than the old store and since I am more of a hunter first and a fisherman second I like the fact that I have all my needs right there and don't have to walk all arround to find what I need.

I did not like the store. Stock was limited, handguns cannot be seen the way displayed, entry doors are confusing and it just don't look like I would expect a new store to look. The need to get some experience in stock display. I hope they get better because the competition needs to be challenged.

They just re-opened...don't you think that's being just a bit harsh???
When a store just opens is when it should looks its best. This store is in trouble and I am NOT s Sportsman Center fan. I just expect more from a retailer that wants me to spends my hard earned money in their store.

Roly, I was told they are going to carry the low end PSE bows but not the x force line. Get it from where you are going to. You will get lifetime service and a professional set up and tuning for $0.

I was there recently and spoke w/ Mike the manager from Cheyene Mountain. He said the store is currently doing a good business and will get even better. He assured me that he will have plenty of product before the upcoming season and will have some great sales too.
He did express to me that some people here seem to be bashing the place. He does not have the time to keep coming on and constantly defending himself.
I've known Mike for years and he assures me that he is making a strong commitment to all his customers to continue to be a quality hunting store.
All he asks is for everyone to give him a fair chance.Closer to the season, you'll see plenty of inventory, quality products, and competetive prices.[up]

Fair enough. I hope he can improve the store. I have always been a Harrys Fan and would like to keep going there. If Mike reads this the first thing you have to do is change the hand gun display. The customers cannot see the handguns as displayed on the dowls.

I like Mike too and am not bashing anyone. But if you are going to be in the archery business you need some kind of indoor range not just a 10 yard lane for someone to fire a bow. You also need to keep products all year long not "closer to the season".
I for one will not drive alot of miles only to find out they don't have what I need. I will stick with going to a pro shop for my archery needs.

Just got back from both places. I like them better than the old place. Cheyenne was nice. Their gun selection was pretty good. Im sure the shelving will organize itself better as time goes by, but overall, I liked the place and will see me going back there often. It takes a lot of balls to open a new place, and I give the guy a lot of credit.

Harrys was nice too. I can see me spending some money in there.
