I remember when a Chimpanzee ripped a woman's face off. The Gorilla could have ripped that kid apart in seconds. Even if it looked docile, it's a wild animal in the end and unpredictable. They did the right thing. Too bad he died for no wrongdoing of it's own.

Am I the only one wondering how Gorilla Meat tastes?


Mostly the mothers fault for not watching her kid. But has to be some of the zoos fault also. I mean the kid was what 3-4 years old? Just how secure is the gorilla area if a small kid can get right in. They need some secure fencing. And by zoos fault I mean like 10-20% their fault 80% moms.

I have a five and a size year old,they can be right next to you and then you blink an eye and they are gone.I don't know how the kid got in the enclosure but if it was one of mine I would have took their gun and shot that big silverback myself!!! There is no excuse to even chance a child's life in a situation as that one and if anybody thinks different they should pull their head out their a--!!!

It's not the gorilla's fault.

He came from a destitute single parent home and never new his father. Mom lived on hand outs and could never keep him under control. He never did well in school and couldn't get a decent job. He was always in trouble and spent most of his life incarcerated. Given a level playing field he could have contributed to society.

We must all look into our own hearts because after all WE are to blame!
