The last two years I was in the contest my team did nothing I think one other person shot a deer and nobody communicated.

According to last year's final standings, 3 of the 5 team members on your team shot deer and your total points were 34 (although the addition doesn't make sense to me)

It's a FUN contest, let's all try to remember that. I could care less who's on my team, although an all ladies team would be nice but seriously, I would even welcome Deer Master as a team-mate
