opening day morning in PA last week. I had one colored like that, at 15 feet! I don't know if he was just going about his business and didn't notice me. or if he was checking me out. I had the wind in my favor. all I know is I heard a branch snap. and I urned around to see him looking right at me and he wheeled around and took off over a berm before I could shoot. it woke me up to say the least. they are such a problem where I hunt, we found two fresh kill sites during the week as well. had a lengthy discussion and when I go up there again......im bringing lots of "wire" and 220 swift rounds!
