I saw some nice collectors guns in there. I'm sure a WW2 vet bringback Ruger gets strapped. Bulls@#$. Goes right into a cops personal collection.

[rofl]. Long day. I've been talking about mini14's all day. Meant Walther and scrapped not strapped. Anyhow, I bet a nice gun or 2 makes its way back into a Leos safe and not the scrap heap. I wonder if any collectors were picking off any nice one before trade in?[confused]

Nice to see they are offering the full amount of $250 for an "Illegal Gun," and $250 for an "Assault Weapon." (Um, wouldn't that be one and the same?)

if there bb guns you get $25 each.

They want to buy them, that's their right...as long as they aren't using taxpayer dollars and have an ffl dealer on the premises.

It shouldnt be. If they were suppose to be destroyed, they should be destroyed! And Im sure if this is going on, are they are paying fair market value? Oh and then where does the money go when and if they by them? Political campaigns? So many questions.

^ Melted down right???? [confused]I think I saw a PPK too.[wallmad]

My brother was a LEO and told me of one time when they did a buyback in Newark and 2 cops from a neighboring town showed up and tried to unload a bunch of guns from their trunk...they must have been very serious collectors.
