Maybe he will be awarded a commendation, and perhaps a 200 Club dinner. [rofl] Seriously, I wish him well and a speedy recovery.[up]
Are u kiddin they probably already made him chief of police!

Yeh eh I figured id give the cop the benefit of the doubt before straight up bashing for an AD. I have heard of holster failures cause AD when movin around a car.

"Wheel guns" go bang whern you pull the trigger too...
Yeah lets see you double action pull a revolver while it's in a holster. A creased holster can and has fired glock style triggers... Gotta be next to impossible with a heavy revolver double action. Add a hammer strap and I would call it impossible to fire a modern revolver with proper drop bar/hammer blocks

If you can open carry, IMHO, it's easier to carry something like a glock cause you don't have to stuff it down your pants. Less obstructions etc. I tell ya I feel a lot more secure with a j frame in my pants than a glock.

You simply cannot pull the trigger of a Glock of it is in a proper holster. It would actually have to be so worn, misfitting or have holes in it... In other words the person would have to be negligent to use such a holster.

Any half decent holster would never allow enough movement to pull the trigger.

Only an idiot would keep ANY gun in their pants withoput a holster.

Yeah I agree a fitted and functional holster should work fine. It's happened before where someone got real hot and sweaty, the leather softened, folded in front of the trigger, and fired the gun when the owner moved a certain way. I'm just saying that situation would be nearly impossible with a revolver. I know lots of people carry glovks iwb and pocket and never have a problem.

Yea, that's the story he told everyone..... Nearly impossible with a Glock too.

You know people who carry Glocks IWB or in a pocket without a holster? I would stay far from those people....
