waited 30 minutes. found blood right away. lots of good blood. found 1 or 2 puddles about 12-16 inches in diameter. Then I bumped the buck about 10 yards from me. I backed out quietly.
Guess since there's no up date, it's not looking good.

For what it's worth now, my advice would have been to just back out and wait till morning. If he's lost that much blood he should have been near by.
If you don't find him with in a couple days, don't give up. Just give it a good week or so and if he's down you'll know it, fallow the turkey-buzzards and smell ;)

Not the way you want it to end but at least you know for sure.

Cool Beans... Congrats [up]

waited til morning 7am. Got the crew together. found lots of blood until it got really thin. Came to a dead end in a thicket, went on hands and knees and found buck, buried himself in the middle of a thorn briar. Low hit indeed. He had a whole lung and half a liver hanging out of a huge Rage 2 blade hole. Upon field dressing, I cut the heart and a large lobe of the liver. Total distance travelled about 300 yards. Dressed weight130 pounds. He was stiff as a rock. probably dead since early last night, like you guys said.
