I don't care who uses WHICH
of course not you wont be in the woods with the rest of us:D

Wow things have really had to be dumbed down for the "not in my season & not my deer" ppl.
no randolph we just want you to understand it[rofl][rofl][rofl]

Are you saying Aceoky posted wrong information????????
I believe he said his data was from an earlier time and was all he had. Won't really matter, you can argue over any amount of numbers, lol.

According to my figures, there's about 300,000 gun hunters in Oh that don't use xbows. Spin away!!

we can actually close this thread the opposition's FACTS proved otherwise:D

but in closing we should let it be known like over 80% of other states that dont allow full crossbow use and they seperate crossbow from archery statistics if ohio was just now gonna have an implemation they wouldn't go for it neither.

So Im curious to what the total number of hunters in Ohio is. I heard 2 total different numbers on here by the pro crossbow crowd. Which one is true and which one is false information?
One set of figures was from 2005 and the other more recent. I'm typing as slow as I can, why don't you try to pick up the pace a bit on your end? Boy, is this all you guys got left?

I just have to add...This is from; http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/huntland.htm

Was hoping someone else would have stated this...

New Jersey has more than 750,000 acres of public land (state, federal, county and municipal) available to the deer hunter. The list below is arranged by Deer Management Zone for public land open to deer hunting. Generally, only areas with 100 acres or more of upland habitat are listed.
State parks and forests that allow hunting may have some sections which are closed to hunting. Some areas allow deer hunting only during certain seasons, require access fees or have other special regulations. Refer to the section in the Fish & Wildlife DIGEST entitled "Special Area Hunting Season Information" or contact the appropriate authority for additional information.

NOTE: The following abbreviations apply to the table below listing public deer hunting lands:

WMA = Wildlife Management Area
SP = State Park
SF = State Forest
NPDHL = No Public Deer Hunting Land
* Special Regulation Area - Consult the Fish and Wildlife DIGEST

Counting NJ's Land Trusts there is over 772,000 acres

---

Dubs gave us Ohio's in the quote below.

Quote:

-State parks= 74 parks-174,000 acres
-AEP lands.
-Scioto Land Company

All totaling approximately 850,000 acres
OK, I'm back off to enjoy the weather.

Dubs gave us Ohio's in the quote below.

All totaling approximately 850,000 acres
Dubs also posted 435,000 acres in this thread.
2005 records indicated 300,000 OH hunters
Newer records indicate 500,000 OH hunters

Counting NJ's Land Trusts there is over 772,000 acres
NJ hunters 86,000

We keep hashing the same thing over and over and it is still not pertinent regardng crossbows.[wallmad]
