Teach your kids to ignore law. Yea great attitude and please spare me the turn into drug addict response. There are plenty of legal things to do. IMO teaching them to ignore law will have a better chance of leading them to other criminal activity than teaching them to follow the law. Some of the responses to this thread have me smfh and are the reasons our public lands are such a mess

I paid to have my atv's registered for the past 20+ years where's my $ going?
This is a hunting forum-- go to an atv website and ask someone that cares. Your registration fee has nothing to do with the use of WMA land. Now stop advocating illegal activity and teach your kid some responsibility.

Your registered ATV is allowed to ride from one private piece of property to another on the shoulder of the road, but does not give you the right to ride on publicly owned property. Most ATV riders use the excuse "well the State allows me to by it here, the State should give me a place to use it." You can also by condoms legally, don't ask the State to provide you a place to use them either. Just obey the law weather you like them or not.

I guess you and the c.o. Officer have no kids that ride atvs. To me as long as your not riding across people's yards and they are on trails I don't see the big deal.
This is insane. You are the reason the problem exists. You are the one who bought the atv for the kid and now you think simply because he has it it's his right to ride.
Very bad way to parent brother. You teach your kids respect and to obey the law. The land is there for certain activities. Atv riding is not one.
Get a second job and buy property to ride on. Than no one can complain

To all the people bitching about atvs, get a life, calling the cops on kids? Classy.
Media brainwashed sock puppet... Every ATV rider is a 11 year old from an abusive family just out off-roading so the don't do drugs , join a gang or hang themselves.. SMFH

SWEET! way too little of this happening. less politicians and more C.O.'s [up]

So if the kid was stealing your lawn mower then it would be okay? Illegal is illegal no matter the age or illegal activity. You trying give people a guilty feeling by using kids as the excuse shows your lack of moral values. People calling the cops on these kids does a lot more good for their up bringing then knowingly letting them break the law as a parent.

Officialvin is exactly the problem with the world. John Lin Walkers parents let him do whatever the hell he wanted n the guy wound up fighting w the Taliban.
Bet the beer parties and back yard grow sheds are a real possibility. Same for the underage drink parties.

Brother kids not taught respect wind up in jail. Hope that doesn't happen to yours. A few really big fines right now'd be cool though
