I don't see anything about EAB ???? Unless I am reading it wrong......it states that first deer must be antlerless........but nothing about a buck after that ??? The first buck can be shot after the early season ????

In my zone I have to shoot an antlerless deer first to earn my buck tag

They added two days to permit shotgun in reg set zero. Yet permit bow still ends the Saturday before thanksgiving. [confusedagain]

Some zones now have a limit of 5 or 9 deer. Does anyone know why it would be these numbers? Seems pointless. They should have left it unlimited unless there is a justification for the chosen limit numbers.

can they please at least have a regular archery season end on the first week in November like it use to be.in some of my zones theres only 20 something days in the fall season. geesh/. in these zones they should do away with extendo archery anyway. deer populations being so low.

My guess and it doesn't mean much but I bet some clubs complained about other clubs killing too many deer. The average Joe hunter has nothing to do with those numbers.

I think it is just the number they picked from a hat to make those bag limits. It took a long time for them to design that strategy. LOL

I my set it states "first deer must be antlerless". That implies EAB (earn a buck). Also it says "antlered or antlerless" after a specified date which implies that if you DO NOT want to EAB, you have to wait and can kill a buck without EAB (earn a buck).
