I am done with morning hunts. I can get a good night sleep and not see anything in the afternoon instead.

Hunting the Magic Hours 10am until 2pm.

 

Been having the most daytime movement at my stands between 8:30-11:00 am, other than nocturnal movement. Seems they're in their beds before sunrise and then up on their feet again by 9am. And that is just scrubs and does. Mature bucks in my areas are all nocturnal, but still alive. Good sub zero weather and snow would help the hunting, imo.

 

Nothing doing today, and I haven't had a "hunting hours" image on any camera in about a week.

It's all 6pm to about 5am, with most movement from 10pm onwards.

 

Daughter and I out in z5. Not one shot far or near heard.

 

Out in hardwick looking for a bear. Not one shot yet

 

Zn 2 Sparta....bear or deer. No shots yet

 

I'll be out in my local spot this afternoon.

 

Zone 48 with bow..no shots no deer...doe patrol today

 

Out in zone 8/4 for bear or deer .you can here a pin drop. No shots

Did not hear one shot today.

 

I heard four far away shots. I saw a spike at 39 yards from my ground blind right before dark and had a coyote out at 300 yards. That was it. Pretty slow even for me.
