hey cat when i was talking to rick i said i think you guy shouldmake good for the 300.00 for the cleaning and the kick-ezz he said why the work was done[wallmad]

i think this guy Brian should have called you personally to apologize not threw rick.thats adding insult to injury IMO n maybe you should think of some sort of a small claims case to at get all or some of your $$$ back.cause that is bull crap no way they should have had your gun that long.

They should make restitution by giving you a substantial discount, or something, for making you wait so very long and for the lack of communication. Seems to me they might lose more $$, if they don't treat you right, IMO.

yo smitty i kinda felt bad for u,and was going to stop by the sportsmen center tomorrow on my lunch and talk to brian for u. but i dont get why you just jumped down dubs throat? he asked a question just like tons of other people on this thread and your other thread. you come of trying to be mister patient, and say your such a good guy, well u just proved that wrong. the hell with ya. figure it out on your own.

The fact that they couldn't find the gun right away and it will be there Tuesday (not today or Monday) tells me either their gunsmith has been hunting with your gun for 2 years and he will be bringing it back on Monday or they sent it out to someone else to fix and never got it back so they called that gunsmith and are going to get it back Monday. Either way it is BS. No way should it take that long to do anything to a gun. When you asked about the $300 being refunded and they said no the work was done, you should have told them you were going to charge a rental fee of $5 per day that they have been using your gun. In most businesses if you don't pick something up they can charge you storage fees or after a certain period sell the item to make good on what you owe. That should be a 2 way street. If they keep your stuff for no reason you should be entitled to compensation as well.

gotta agree hear ,I never once had any trouble ,the other day I went there for a new peep site and the owner came out from the back and dropped everything he was doing to help me ,after that he let me go upstairs and shoot for as long as I wanted .More to this story ,you guys keep thinking what you want but this sounds like b.s. to me

catfish hunter did you ever have any gun work done their. I am just wondering not looking to start anything, but maybe the owner just works on the bow part. I know other stores where they send all of their guns out to get worked on, and the guys behind the firearm counter send them out not the owners.

trust me you guys got the whole story im not like that and buy the way there archary dept is second to none in the state. How could anyone make something like that up

I think it is completely believable. Almost all of my gunsmith jobs ran long. Granted most were not simple part replacements. Forget to call, next job in the pipe line, can't get the part have to make it, part is on back order or sent it out for repair. Poof two years go by. The brand of gun would add to the story. Most SxS are not easy repairs like a pump or Auto-loader.
