Thanks guys! Just to answer a few questions......Yes I think we were at the glory hole, but we were at the mercy of a great Capt. and to tell you the truth, I had no idea where we were once land was out of sight. As far as the tuna's weight, I think it was about 50 lbs. or so, but whatever it was, it was a great fight.

I am looking forward to fish again offshore in the next few weeks and with a little luck with the weather I will have a few more pictures and reports to add.

And yes we did have a video camera working the catch and ESPN outdoors has the rights to the footage, so if I hear anything about that I will let everyone know.

I brought a couple of different rods and reels down but when the Capt. saw them he told me to leave them in the car. We used all the gear on the boat and we made sure that we had them tied on to the kayaks. If we lost a set-up it would be about a grand that we would have had to pay.

My rod was very secure!!$$$

I just got a few more pictures sent to me by the Captain that I wanted to share. In this picture you can see how fast I was getting pulled and turned around by the wake behind the kayak.

Here is another picture of me and Jon just after he came and gaffed it for me.
