A few of us attended one of their meetings in Jefferson Twp. a few years ago.
They are friendly (to your face at least) and for the most part, many seem like normal, average, every day people you'd meet on a daily basis.
The information they provided was a mixture of truth and lies or "altered facts".
We shared our views as well and all was friendly.
I wouldn't view it as "crashing their party" but instead keeping the information given truthful and unbiased.
If it's like the meeting we attended, it will consist mostly of hunters and anti's, but there will also be many "fence sitting" town residents that are unsure of how to deal with the bear problem they face.
THAT is your target audience whenever you speak. You arent going to change the minds of the anti-hunters, and you don't need to preach to the choir, but representing a factual case for hunting black bears to reduce bear problems is what needs to be stressed to the non-hunters.
So bring facts and politely correct any misinformation they give. Dress nice, be polite and spread the TRUTH!
Have fun, thanks for going and always keep in mind that you're representing all hunters![up][up]
