What I could have stolen....

With all of the posts on stolen property I thought for a change I would post what I could have stolen this year. Just to show there are honest hunters left.

In Sterling Forest I could have grabbed 2 ladder stands and a loc-on with two sections of strap on stick steps.

In Jersey I could have walked away with a nice new ladder stand, a pop-up blind and an automatic feeder.

My father taught me a long time ago that if you steal something, you get a sore ass for a week.:eek:

I could have taken numerous ladder stands. They're not mine, not on my private property, so they are still there. Unless someone else stole them.

i could have stolen 4 climbers, 5 ladder stands, 3 cams, 2 canoes, 1 camo chair, and a whole mess of different tripod stands. oh ya and 2 feeders...

I COULD have been a rich man if i took all that stuff and sold it....but i am a better person then those bastards that take ppls things

I came across a lot of stuff also. I had a climber stolen this year. It really pissed me off. I don't know why people do this. Bottom line is don't let your "stuff" become "STUFF4SALE".

This post is BS.. Why the hell are you guys bragging about what YOU COULD HAVE STOLEN!!! why not start a positive post.. like HOW MANY DEER YOU SAW THIS SEASON?? or your most memorable day in the in the woods..

But no!! nothing but people whining and crying.. in my eyes all this talk about stealing stuff just gives the crooks more of a reason to go look for more things to steal..

As its not a whinny crying post, about crossbows, gun hunters, private property, trespassers, etc.

I "Stole" two ladder stands this year. I walked to my bait One hundred yards from my house and there is a stand up overlooking my bait (well within my million posted signs). Soo that bad boy got cut down and put in the garage and two weeks later I go out and there is another identical stand in the same tree, obviously they didn't get the point so that one went in my garage too.

Whiskers i have to say you are wrong!! this is whining and crying of the same sort.. Look at me i dont steal.. but i could .. [cry][cry][cry] do you guys want medals for being honest.. no..... good because it is never gonna happen!!

I grew up being taught that if you have to brag about being honest there is a good chance you are not!!! its only to make yourself feel better about the wrong thing you have done. IMO

If you bring it in the woods that day and take it out with you the same day you'll always have it. By leaving it you take your chances. There have been thieves since the beginning of time and probably will be way past were gone. Point is if it's stolen you have only yourself to blame. Everyone needs to vent, but in the end, sooner or later some scum will end up with it. I'm sure the anti's love reading the posts of missing items, why make their day? More than likely they are behind more than 50% of the crimes. I just needed to vent as I'm debating weather to leave my pop up set up for a day or 2 knowing that the odds of it being gone are good. As I found someones water bottle left there.[mad] They could atleast bring out their garbage.
