A few years ago, a paper in the Vineland area ran an editorial by an Editor on their staff, in which the kid (he was a very young editor) went on a rant about hunting, and how much he hates it. He actually wrote that he hoped BillyBob mistakes his ******* brother in-law for an eight-point buck and shoots him dead. Yes, the paper ran it, there was a substantial outcry from the hunting and non-hunting public alike. Stuart and I e-mailed each other about it and he refused to take a stand that calling for the death of a person was bad. He said he actually thought it was justice, and if it happened more often, the "murdering hunters would know how the animals feel". The paper was pretty swift in apologizing for running the piece, but refused to fire the sack of garbage that wrote it, so me, nor anyone in my extended family have bought even one issue of the paper since.
The point is though, Stuart Chaifetz, and those like him, are not grounded in anything close to reality. They are mentally ill, seriously, I'm not trying to just slam them...they belong in psychiatric institutions. I worked with the metallly ill for quite some time and can assure you there are people in Trenton, Ancora and Greystone Hospitals that are much more sane then Stuart Chaifetz. They are to be pitied, but taken seriously.
