What type of business would you be interested in starting?
Well it would be a combination of two things really. I find when I go to many pet stores they have very little for some pets and alot more on others, or they are balanced out but their employees have the personalities of rocks, or know nothing about whatever they are selling. I would love to have a place that has more selections for all types of pets, more pets for sell, and offer something no other pet store can, which is where the second part comes in.

I love to set up aquariums, vivariums, terrariums ect and even figured out a way to make a set up that allows more bang for the buck. what I could do is build these set ups, offer to deliver them to the home and set them up the rest of the way with plants and animals or what have you as part of the cost. One thing I have yet to see in pet stores is supplies for this for the hobbyist that enjoys these set ups as well, no plants, not many if any "furniture" or anything else. They also tend to have little knowledge of what animals that you can mix and match. Just for the record I am not talking the run of the mill tanks here I am talking large enclosures with water features that can basicaly be a mini eco system that requires little or no maintenance. I could also offer up package deals when they buy an enclasure they will get the pet of their choice, I will set it up and run the maintenance on the enclosure as needed for a better price.

Holy heck I wasn't expecting that! I figured you were thinking of openin your own mechanic shop or taking the guy up with the forklifts. But the super duper pet store/aquarium on wheels blew my mind. Good luck bud I hope it all work out.

Sopunds like a perfect side job to start then as customers build up go full time. Till then don't quit your other jobs in this ecconomy. Good luck to you but remember you'll never get rich working for somebody. Then again you can scratch the bottom of the barrel in your own bussiness, esp. in these tryin times. On a side note you get lots of time to fish and hunt.[patcheye]
