would you feel better if i blew 5 grand and went out west to shoot a whitetail out of a stand i did not scout for, did not hang, did not work for at all, just paid the guide to do all the dirty work, and him tell me to go sit in it and pull the trigger on any buck over 130"? because i dont see the difference except mines cheaper and a fence is surrounding it

lol sorry bud, didnt mean to put down guys who do it that way... just tryin to put down cmgunner.. lol


my point is, YOU do what makes YOU happy, and ILL do what makes ME happy... this way, everyone is happy! why put so much effort into trying to change OTHER peoples choices when they haven't the slightest affect on YOU? sounds like a waste of time, so i guess it is YOU cmgunner, who :

Good luck Jay, I have a feeling you are going to come back feeling a little wierd about the whole thing, but maybe not. It's like going to the zoo, and being able to kill something. I say that from experience...I've been there with a camera.

i went to cold brook last yr, and the 1st group of rams came in leery, and the wind swirrled and they took off i never got a shot.. it was about as real as it gets.

the 2nd group, we were taking a tour of the property on a quad, seen a bunch headded our way, and jumped off the quad and walked off into the woods. they walked right down the trail within 5-10 mins and i put a shot on one..

still fun, sure beats spending thousands and possibly comming home empty handed, i dont have that kind of money to gamble with... im looking for guarenteed something to hang on the wall and enter in a taxidermist competition.

Sounds like a blast!! But I don't think I can come up with the cash.:( 725 for a big hog isn't to bad and a smaller one is a 100 less. I'll have to do some budgeting first and I'll let'ya know!

This thread is like telling someone their woman is ugly with comments.[rofl][rofl][rofl]

If you never hunted a hog behind a fence then you have no idea they don't just stand there and say I'm over here come shoot me. Hog might even charge you as well? Its all up to the hog what they will do they know what your there for.:p

so far there are 6 of us going, (5 hunters, 1 filmer) and maybe deadbolt if he is up for the weekend away to film me with my stick bow in action LOL

we have room for 10-15 guys,,, May 7th .. i know its mothers day, but try to get out of that mess and come hunting LOL.."mom" will understand ;)
