I applied for my FID about 40 days ago and just received a call from the township that they're still waiting for a reference from my work. I had no idea they contacted your employer. Is this right?
I don't think they ever contacted my place of employment. Heck, you could simply state on the form you are not working so they couldn't check up on you, but then that would be lieing.
