DITTO!
Of course there will be pheasant hunting next but under certain contingencies.
First, the state will take your money for your hunting license(after the license fee increase) and will take your money for your pheasant stamp (after the pheasant stamp increase) but there will be NO pheasants stocked.
You may still hunt for them all you want but not on state lands because state lands will be closed to hunting as was done for the BEAR HUNT.
Furthermore, due to restrictions, you will NOT be allowed firearms but instead sticks and rocks. Naturally you will only be able to carry a certain amount of rocks (capacity) and the stick may not exceed 9 inches. This only needs to be signed by the Emperor of the People's Republic of new jersey then it will be a done deal.
Furthermore the pheasant season will run from 3am to 4am on October 30. Check the compendium for sun up and sun down times because there is no hunting after dark.
YUP!! There will be pheasant hunting next year! The Emperor says it's so.

Here is an idea- how about we wait and see how many birds they schedule for stocking next season and how healthy the birds are. They can't be any worse then the ones I have seen this year. They are some skinny ass cockbirds running around. I don't pheasant hunt anymore but would be greatly disappointed shooting the birds I have seen around the wma.

never could understand how bird hunting program could even support itself. the stamp is 40$. birds cost what like $8-$12 each? thats like getting your money back after 2 times going. small game hunting isint what it use to be. if i was in the sport id look at private farms or leases and get my own birds. maybe head out west mid-west where the wild ones are. funny how with deer that populate themselves it costs more if you add up all the permits and zones. i just dont think any one game season should shoulder the weight and pay for another game season.
