Any prosecution, did the police actually follow up with the trespass?
that farmer is a retired police officer so he is going to deal with it. I emailed him the pics and he printed them out and we are going to talk to them this week sometime

This guy is a hunter and couldn't spot a trail cam in an open area like that? Seems almost like they're looking for something in those first two pics. I'd let the landowner deal with it. If it continues to be a problem, then it's time to get law enforcement involved.

thats whati was thinkin [confusedagain]

not sure what he was looking for...weirdd

If he did shoot a deer i think that the fines could be more severe than trespassing
Maybe, just maybe he shot a deer on HIS property and it wondered onto your property. A lot of anger on this site. Calm down and find out what he has to say. No need to confront him with pictures and make him aware of $100-$200 strapped to a tree. If you accuse him, he'll get defensive. If you approach him in a respectful manner, you might be able to work something out where he calls before he searches for his deer. No need to get the police involved between neighbors. Some of you guys on here crack me up with your internet muscles. Stick to plan A. Your pictures and proof are plan B. Keep us posted. I have a pile of stones in my backyard that I can hand out to members here if diplomacy fails.

ok nevermind dude looked familiar but not from down there. good luck with your situation.

Maybe they were just out for a walk in the woods without any bad intentions. I wouldn't start accusing or getting any law officials involved until you confront them in a neighborly way and see where that goes. Tell them while it's hunting season you would appreciate they stay off the property. Where I live no one really says anything to anyone if a neighbor is just taking a walk with their dog and strolls on your property, after all they are neighbors..

NO WAY... They looks like Squatters to me !!!!!!! ARGH [mad] I'll bet they were trying to figure out where to build their tree house so they could take over the property ... ARGH [mad][mad] I wouldn't wait to take action if I were you !!!! ARGH...[mad][mad][mad]

[rofl]

To hell with them. You get caught trespassing once you get a warning, but over and over again. I say screw them, turn em in and fine them and see if they are stupid enough to do it again. Maybe they are ******** who never learned how to read!

Although they are breaking the rules, to me it looks like they are just out for a stroll with the dog. Be civil and reinforce there is no trespassing on the property for whatever reasons.
