Who is already scouting existing and new areas? I know I am. Will be out this week scouting and knocking on a few doors for new property to hunt. Picking up a few new trail cameras and will be shed hunting in a few weeks.

Just 8 more months till the magic begins!

Will start scouting some remote public areas near my house this week, see what kind of sign I find. Will be enjoyable hiking and looking for new spots. How did you make out this past season? Any close encounters? See any shooters?

I was out yesterday. Post season is great time to scout new areas and get a a better understanding of the areas you already hunt.

That's a real nice buck in that video. [up]

I don't really start scouting til mid summer. Food sources change so much and I know where they eat this time of year... In the rich folks back yards where they feed them!

Me too. I have Illinois in the fall, Iowa in December and hopefully Kansas early muzzleloader in 2017.

This coming season I have a few new treestand sites and should be in a great position to knock a good one down.
