Thanks delaware ill b seeing u soon

i am asking because i am curious not to be wise. are you planning on using the generator in the boat. if so is the generator loud or put vibrations on the boat. if so i would think itmay scare the fish. if it dont it is a good idea and i may try that route. never thought of a generator, would last longer than a battery.

I dont know how bright the lights have to be, but Im sure somebody makes some 12v bright led lights that could be powered off of spare batteries. The Led lights draw minimal juice. I would assume the generator would be noisy and spook fish no? Could try a power inverter off the battery too but I dont know how long that would last

Ive been out with a guide and he had the genarater going and it didn't seem scared of fish..

If you could find some low draw lights, a power inverter will connect directly to the battery and convert 12vdc to 110 ac with no noise. You need to find a low draw light. Leds are the best way to go if they would be bright enough.

Tcook I have a 55 lb trust mini kota do u think that plus the lights would kill the battery quick??

when we use to shoot a lot at night we had a hand held spot light connected to 12v battery. usually needed 2 or 3 batteries to make it through the night, so i would admagin you would need 1 just for trolling motor. most of the time you will be drifting when shooting

Looks great!! also, you couod always use car lamps/headlights hooked up to a battery. Little draw and big power. Just. Rig them to the frame you have and remember to charge the batt after or before each trip. A small generator mounted on rubber mounts would reduce the scare factor also( Those interlocking thick foam floor mats could work too)
