I don't like the pressure of 6 day. Gotta go out with swarms of hungry hounds killin anything that moves. I much prefer sept to mid November where you can relax and not worry that you didn't see any deer that sit.
 
Bows are incredibly lethal, as long as you hit the vitals. The challenge is tricking the deer into getting close enough to get a clean hit on the vitals at the right angle. If you double lung or lung/heart a deer they die very quickly. I've dropped deer dead dead in like 30 seconds. They run with their last breath and that's it.

the bad side of bows is if you get a less than ideal shot they can live a while. I've had deer run for over half a mile before dying. Had deer get spined and needed a follow up shot. Lost deer after hours and hours and hours I tracking on hands an knees searching for drops of blood. You can get that with a poor gun shot too... So aim small miss small and youll hopefully have a short track.
