Your choice. If you'd like to do both, maybe put 2 dots in different colors and specify which color is for which weapon.

My version.
Yellow circle is gun or bow.
Red circle is gun only, no bow shot for me.

Actually that lower right one could go back a smidge...another two inches or so.

I dont use a gun, so that didnt even cross my mind. Technically I'd pass that buck, and I'd make sure none of them are button bucks. Otherwise the arrow is going where that red dot is. Good thread.

Head shots are great don't waste the meat, especially on close grazing deer. Good choice smack a deer[up]

Maybe a hair Matt, but you'll get liver, back of one lung center punch the other. All of them are dead deer.

On a quartering away shot like that you basically want the arrow to exit right behind the opposites side shoulder blade. So Matty is right on. As for me Matty's are just about right where I would try to put mine. However on his 1st "no shot" I would put my arrow right where Yoda's arrow is going. It is a picture, but it doesn't appear to me that the deer is quartering towards me too severely.

 

You guys had some beautifal meat hits with lots a red blood at first and no bubbles, then it started to run out and then bad news nothing.

How about making it a little more challenging what was your hair folicals like on your arrow shafts?

Maybe one or two of your shots were through the feed bag. Slim, stink and some remains. No mistake.
