Just heard a million crows, looked out in the yard and saw a nice size Red Fox. Called the PD just to let them know and they had some calls yesterday. I thought it was cool. To date within a block from my house in Clifton I've seen, Racoons, Possums Fox,Turkey Deer and Ground Hogs. Talk about encroachment and not enough habitat.[patcheye]

your yards hold more wildlife than the farms do. fact, suburban and developments are a high. source of habitat. more safety factors, food water and shelter, when a animal is born into that habitat that is all they know so the smells sounds and presence pf people are a normal in the every day life. if it was not true I would not have been in business for 30 plus years. they do not hide and just do what they do. day time activity in these areas are normal most are not sick. it is just people hear wives tales and because they do not live in a place where they think animals are supposed to be they react. ask a hay farmer how often they have yotes and fox running around the mower in the day time. next in line, farms hold more wildlife that natural habitat does. farms are also man made, the edges and ecosystems caused by farming practices, plus food farms are not natural habitat parts may be but again they touch man made. the last natural has the least amount of safety factor thus you will see the 40 to 60% mortality in the first years life. that will be man or natural causes. I get calls every week asking if I remove dead deer from front yards.
