Out of season undersized fluke

Went fishing 🎣 in Manasquan Inlet yesterday evening on the outgoing tide during a nor’easter. Got the last parking spot. Two fishermen were catching fluke and blackfish with bait in my spot so I went to my backup spot. Caught, tagged and released an out of season, undersized fluke with a plain hook Ava A-17, then lost my rig on the bottom of the inlet on my last cast of the day. Lots of surfers were in the pocket and mouth of the inlet. Fishermen were everywhere. Osprey and cormorants were fishing nearby. Crowd fishing 🎣 is not fun.
