Why is NJ Fish and Game responding to bear issues in 'other' states? After all, we all know that there aren't any bears in New Jersey.....especially big, black ones....

That was from West Milford. That was the bear they captured by the Elks club and they had a vet fix his nose. It was torn up from getting into garbage dumpsters.
I have at least 2 in my neighborhood about that size. I have to laugh when I watch these hunting shows on the outdoor channel where some guy in Bear camp shoots a 350 pounder, and they act like that's a giant bear and a real trophy-I've got at least 7 bears that wlk my street on any given week well over 500lbs.

IMO little more than "Zoo Bears" Far differant than the bears were a far north hunting camp may be located and the bears are 1 hunted 2 deal with a real winter 3 untrusting of people. Ahh but a trophy is like beauty "In the eye of the beholder".

Why would someone bring a bear into NJ to take a pic of it?? We dont have bears!!! Something that big could hurt someone[rofl][rofl]
