Well tonight I hunted in Sergentsville with my ML and although I was looking for a buck, I was happy to see three does come walking in at about 4:40. The first was a smaller doe, but not a yearling and the other two were larger, more mature does. I waited for one of the larger two to present me with an opportunity and finally when one did, I took a shot. She went running off to my left. The other larger doe ran straight and off into the distance while the smaller of the three startled, but remained. I was able to re-load and wait for her to present me with a shot also, which she eventually did. She only ran about 30 yards before the remaining half of her heart stopped and she went down. The first was about 100 yards away when I found her about an hour later. All I can say is that I am terribly grateful that I had a camerman with me or I would still be there trying to get them both out
