Well the trip got off as bad as could be with the owner of the boat in Mexico passing away after falling on one of his boats the day before our trip. After many calls and E-mails, we were assured that the Capt.of the boat would take care of everything. Then my flight was delayed 3 hours and then the person I was flying with, father was rushed to the hospital the night before the trip and he had to cancel. After many drinks on the plane down, and finding a bus for the 3 hour drive to the boat, it all started to get better.
We lived on a boat for 7 days and fished from the kayaks every chance we had and the fishing was insane. There were so many fish caught from the boat trolling to each kayak spot that we fought on WHO would reel in the next fish.
I can't even spell half of the fish we caught, but we figured that it was close to 30 different species.
The winds were pretty bad at night and early in the morning, but the late mornings into evening was like glass calm. We anchored into small coves for the nights and left just after sunrise.
The weather was perfect with 85 degrees during the day and high 60's at night.
Here are a bunch of pictures from the trip..ENJOY!!
I am not sure how many pictures you can post, so there are more on the next post.
