I have hunted there since I was 15 and was allowed to ride my bike to hunt. The best time to shoot a deer is early bow season. The fact that it is stocked with pheasants during small game season makes it hard. I can tell you that I have seen over the last 30plus years that I have been around the area I have seen several nice bucks killed during early season. And several killed in November if you can figure out how to get away from the birders. The potential to kill a monster is there but not likely just because the amount of attention that place gets. But since it is in Zone 51 mostly around Wall Twp there are always some big boys around.
