Check this out 99 percent of the time when you first find your Deer. The tongue will be hanging out the opposite side from your Entrance wound. So if your arrow or Bullets enters the Right side of the Deer it's Tongue will be sticking out the left side.......Of the 7 deer i have seen from myself and buddies so far this season it is 100 percent true... Please report your findings

Im also in the 1% group.The last 2 deer I shot -one was on the entrance and the other was not out at all?

im guessing the deer lays down and licks the wound {Entrance side,felt pain 1st)..then dies...then the tounge falls out the other side of the deer's mouth.. just my guess
