I decided to work from home today rather than risk crashing another vehicle commuting in the snow. I decided to take a break this afternoon to get some fresh air and test the distance marks from Archers Advantage on my bow. So I go out the back yard, leave my back driveway, cross the street and go onto the property of BOC corporation, where there are a few hundred yards of lawn, all bordered from the street by a nice woodline. I confirm the marks at 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards and shoot my 5 arrows at 60 yards and I'm walking towards my Cube target when I hear somebody yell out "put down the weapon and raise your hands". I couldn't believe it - I was busted [cry]. The two officers (there were eventually 5 there before it was all said and done)came up and started questioning me and they let me know that someone from the company had called and lodged the complaint. They were very sympathetic to my story but told me that BOC's grounds manager decided to file a complaint and it was out of their hands. They confiscated my Conquest Apex [cry][cry][cry], my 5 CE Maximas, and my Cube target. I talked them into letting me take my Sure-Loc and stabilizer off the bow, thank God. I have a court date in a few weeks time and hopefully I'll get my baby back after I pay a fine. Crime just doesn't pay [hihi][hihi][hihi]. If my wife finds out she's gonna be pissed [hihi][hihi][hihi]
Matty, now you know why I needed another bow!!!
Doug - I think some of those unionized civil servants read my posts and are out to get me [hihi] J/K
