That is borderline disrespectful and a bad shot to boot.
Got any running gut shot pics to post? How bout the pic of the goose walking around with an arrow sticking out of it.
Love to see pics of harvested deer, done respectfully. Check out JCChartboys, Jakesbeards and MSGrits pics as a classy way to exemplify our sport.

RayORSA....... WHAT? Thats a kill shot....easy.... look at the angle of the shot.... Running shot? the DOE is running away because of the shot!!!!!! not before the shot... ONE BUCK PLEDGE??????? What does that have to do with this pic/thread?......ShootStraight......That is the best tail cam pic i have ever seen hands down....Congrats on the doe as well!!!!!

Relax Vern, no need to get all worked up. Yes, it is a great trail cam pic...great shutter speed and distinct clarity.
A picture that many of us only have in our minds eye from the hunt.
But, in my opinion, it is in poor taste to post a picture of a deer running with an arrow stuck in it. We do our best to portray bowhunting as an ethical, humane way to reduce the deer population...and pictures like this do not make our job any easier.

Hunting is a JOB to you?

No Vern, hunting is not a job to me...it's been a lifestyle and tradition to me for the last 32 years. We all have opinions. Like I said, great trail cam pic. Posting a picture of a deer with an arrow sticking out of it... poor taste.

The anti's can yell all they want

It's not the anti's we are concerned about. It is the non hunters who know deer need to be managed, are not against hunting, but don't want or need to see how it all takes place.
One shot of this picture turns soccer moms that had no issues with bowhunting in their neighborhoods into antis...plain and simple.
I have seen it firsthand.
Dress it up any way you want, but trying to defend this picture to the non hunting community, that supports what we do, is next to impossible.
Great picture that belongs in the man cave.
