Great Elk Trip (pix)

Just got back from a Colorado Elk hunt.
We had a great hunt, 10 Hunters - 8 Bulls !
Plus 6 cows and 3 Mule Deer Bucks ! Two Bull Elk hunts were captured on Video.
This was a Do It Yourself hunt, no guide or outfitter, we stayed at a friends house and hunted near Ridgeway, in the shadows of the San Juan mountian range.

Nice Whaletail bull that was seen in the area and a definate 'target' Bull...Killed on the first night he was hunted by BuckyNJ

My 5X5 captured on video....great hunt..a whole herd of Elk at 60 yards! BuckyNJ was my cameraman

I believe they used a sawzall
All but one Elk was taken to the butchers whole, We had a trailer that we could tow behind a quad and then winched the Elk up on the trailer.
